It's fairly easy to tell which way Madison leans by the cars people drive. Civics, Corollas, Prius, and Subaru's are abundant. I would like to think that any auto mechanic in this area should have some knowledge of the quirks of these vehicles. I brought my car here to have the Transmission, coolant fluids flushed, and tires rotated. I dropped the vehicle off the night before so they would have all day to do what should have been relatively simple tasks. Now, a 7th Generation Civic appears to have a reputation for being difficult to burp the cooling system after you flush it. I would think that any mechanic in Madison should know this. I am apparently wrong. After picking up my vehicle I spent 25 min in my driveway watching bubbles come out. Even after that, I still had air in the system. I ended up taking my Civic to Zimbrick to just get it done even if it was going to cost me more. I had already lost the use of my vehicle over the Thanksgiving weekend at this point which was costing me a car rental for $140.02. Another $67.33 for Zimbrick to burp it, verify the head gasket wasn't damaged, and adding coolant back to the system after it was burped. This on top of $210.79 for incompetent work. I'll never go to this place again. If I could give a lower rating than 1 I would. There are other sites on line where this place has all 5 star reviews. I can't even comprehend how that's possible at this point.
Mr. Boettcher, After reading your review of your Nov. 14th 2014 visit, I want to apologize for providing a less than perfect service experience. We all rely on our vehicles and it really can mess things up when something goes wrong with them. I will agree that once your vehicle leaves our repair facility you should be able to have piece of mind knowing that everything was done right. That being said, we are human and make mistakes. I apologize for the inconvenience it caused you. Had we known about the problem right away it would have given us the chance to show you how we are always willing to go the extra mile for our customers to make sure they are satisfied with our service and that we truly earn all of our five star ratings, even if that meant a loaner/rental vehicle so you ad transportation.
