I used Aeschbach Automotive at the recommendation of a friend who is in the car business. I like that they are a local place and privately owned. I have used them 3 times now and had an excellent experience each time. The staff is super friendly, courteous, and professional. They explain everything and communicate information about your vehicle clearly which I really appreciate, not being a car guy myself. I've never had them try to push any services on me or sell me things I don't need or want like some other places. The prices on parts and labor are reasonable and fair. Most recently I had my car in and they unexpectedly had a supply issue with some parts. They called to tell me they needed to keep the car for an extra day we had not planned on. Getting the car back the next day was going to be really tough with my schedule so they offered to drop the car off at my place of business and followed though with it. That's really going the extra mile and has definitely won my business and they are now definitely going to get my recommendation to anyone who needs work done on their car. THANK YOU!

Thank you Mr. Meyer we really appreciate the opportunity to take care of your vehicle.

As someone who knows very little about vehicle maintenance and repair, finding a location with a knowledgable and understanding staff is crucial. When dealing with one's transportation, it is necessary to feel as though it is safe and reliable day to day - which is a lot of pressure for a mechanic or automotive technician. The gentlemen at Aeschbach Automotive have treated my Jeep Liberty and me with such care and respect that I finally feel I have found the shop for us. I trust them to do excellent and through work and that isn't easy for me to find. My gratitude is endless.

Josh has always done a great job for me. And with the addition of James, their new service writer, I believe the great customer service will continuously improve.

I had Josh and his Team install a set of Godspeed Mono RS Coil-overs, camber kit, and new tires. The quote was right on the money even though the Godspeeds required extra attention to get the set-up right. The Team at Aeschbach have treated my car as their own for 3 years now. Being mechanically inclined I could have caught them up-charging me if they were so inclined. By getting quotes from other shops and knowing what needs to be done anyway, I can tell when I am being played. The Aeschbach guys have never attempted to deceive me in any way, going so far as to leave any worn part of my vehicle available for my inspection. This serves to assure me new parts were put on. Josh also runs something called an Endurance Race Team where they run a beater racecar for 14 or more brutal hours. Achieving this mastery of keeping well worn vehicles running and running reliably translates very well into the real-world-environment that your car lives in. What more could a car owner wish for. I have not been paid to make this endorsement. Michael T. Adams

Great shop- accommodating, very reasonably pricing & friendly. These guys aren't pushy, but do help you weigh your car repair and maintenance options. Straight to the point, while providing top notch customer service. They won't fill up your inbox with junk email either. Thanks Josh!

Josh, the owner, is always so pleasant and polite. He tries extraordinarily hard to work you in when you have an urgent car problem. His staff are also friendly and highly competent. The car is always clean when returned. Most importantly, their automotive work is excellent and they stand behind their work. The prices charged are better than at other local repair shops. You get the personal attention from this business that is missing at the large corporate car repair places. HIGHLY recommended.

It's fairly easy to tell which way Madison leans by the cars people drive. Civics, Corollas, Prius, and Subaru's are abundant. I would like to think that any auto mechanic in this area should have some knowledge of the quirks of these vehicles. I brought my car here to have the Transmission, coolant fluids flushed, and tires rotated. I dropped the vehicle off the night before so they would have all day to do what should have been relatively simple tasks. Now, a 7th Generation Civic appears to have a reputation for being difficult to burp the cooling system after you flush it. I would think that any mechanic in Madison should know this. I am apparently wrong. After picking up my vehicle I spent 25 min in my driveway watching bubbles come out. Even after that, I still had air in the system. I ended up taking my Civic to Zimbrick to just get it done even if it was going to cost me more. I had already lost the use of my vehicle over the Thanksgiving weekend at this point which was costing me a car rental for $140.02. Another $67.33 for Zimbrick to burp it, verify the head gasket wasn't damaged, and adding coolant back to the system after it was burped. This on top of $210.79 for incompetent work. I'll never go to this place again. If I could give a lower rating than 1 I would. There are other sites on line where this place has all 5 star reviews. I can't even comprehend how that's possible at this point.

Mr. Boettcher, After reading your review of your Nov. 14th 2014 visit, I want to apologize for providing a less than perfect service experience. We all rely on our vehicles and it really can mess things up when something goes wrong with them. I will agree that once your vehicle leaves our repair facility you should be able to have piece of mind knowing that everything was done right. That being said, we are human and make mistakes. I apologize for the inconvenience it caused you. Had we known about the problem right away it would have given us the chance to show you how we are always willing to go the extra mile for our customers to make sure they are satisfied with our service and that we truly earn all of our five star ratings, even if that meant a loaner/rental vehicle so you ad transportation. Please feel free to contact us with any concerns and we will always take the time to make things right. Sincerely, Josh Aeschbach - Owner 608-826-4349
